SPIE BiOSBIOS 2018 (part of Photonics West)
27-Jan to 01-Feb-2018; San Francisco, USA
BiOS is a major conference on biomedical optics, diagnostics and therapeutics, biophotonics, new imaging modalities, optical coherence tomography, neurophotonics, optogenetics, tissue optics. Topic Areas include photonic therapeutics and diagnostics, clinical technologies and systems, tissue optics and laser-tissue interaction.
WWU presented a paper (10503-37) and a poster (10474-90) on GALAHAD at this event.

OCT Angiography 2017
5th International Congress on OCT Angiography, “En Face” OCT and Advances in OCT
15-16 Dec-2017; Rome, Italy
OCT Angiography (OCTA) imaging is now a widely accepted imaging technology. It is is already widely used in everyday ophthalmology and fulfills research and clinical needs. OCTA attracts the best and brightest scientists, engineers, retina specialists and clinicians from all over the world. Industry is actively pursuing the development of innovative OCTA imaging
strategies. The growing number of attendees (from 450 to 1450 in three years) shows that the meeting provides high value teaching.

2CCOCT
2nd Canterbury Conference on OCT
06-08 Sep-2017; Canterbury, UK
This three day conference will be dedicated to recent advances in measurement and imaging conditioned by progress in enlarging the spectrum of the optical source. The larger the bandwidth of the broadband optical source used in spectrometer based OCT, and of the tuning bandwidth of swept lasers used in swept source OCT, the better the axial resolution. However, an increase in the source bandwidth brings with it other problems that the research community have tried to address in the last decade.
NKT presented a paper on GALAHAD at this event in the session on “OCT in ophthalmology.”
